The driving bit also known as liverpool has 2 or 3 reinsertion slots. This jawpiece is used specifically for driving and harnessing. This jawpiece allows the driver to adjust the leverage from none to heavy. The lower the reins are placed the sharper the bit. The jawpiece with two reins slots therefore has a milder leverage than the 3 slot mixing bit.

This mouthpiece is a bar with a medium tongue arch. The tongue arch allows for more tongue freedom so there is no pressure on the tongue but distributed over the layers. This makes the bit ideal for horses with a sensitive tongue or horses that stick out the tongue. This bit is not suitable for an inexperienced rider.
